ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Drowsy driving is no joke. Drivers have been known to fall asleep behind the wheel.

Now there's technology designed to help keep drivers awake. Some vehicles could soon be equipped with a camera to monitor the driver's eyelids. The camera could be programmed to send an alert if it detects eyelids shutting instead of blinking.

I know a lot of people don't like cameras that track speeding, but in the case it seems like a camera could be a good thing.
