Cardinals beat Diamondbacks 5-3

PHOENIX (KPLR) – The Cardinals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-3 Monday night.

Lance Lynn (10-8) allowed just 2 runs on 9 hits, helped by four double plays turned by the Cardinals defense.  Yadier Molina’s two-run single in the seventh inning added to the victory.  Matt Carpenter also hit a solo home run.
