FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) - St. Louis County police released video of the man they said shot at officers Sunday night.  The video reportedly shows Tyrone Harris, Jr. pulling out a gun moments before he encountered undercover officers.

It’s the same man FOX2 highlighted Monday in this exclusive report on Harris.

Our report showed a man in red pants and a white top who appeared to be holding a gun.  Tonight police confirm it's Harris.

St. Louis County police say the video shows Tyrone Harris in the middle of a group of people with a stolen 9 mm.  The video was captured by a camera on the corner of a strip mall on West Florissant in Ferguson.  You can see the beginning of a fight, and then Harris pulls his gun and appears to come up in a firing position.

It’s interesting to compare today’s released surveillance video to the video we highlighted Monday, from an international TV camera across the street.  We pointed out muzzle flashes, then the man in the long red pants and a white top.  He appeared to point his gun toward the ground, then run forward in a firing position.

He was heading in the direction of the old Ponderosa across the West Florissant.  That`s where St. Louis County Police Detectives reported Harris fired at them.  Four officers reportedly shot back, wounding Harris.
