Storm knocks out power at Lambert Airport temporarily

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – As the storms rolled through the St. Louis area Sunday night, wind gust clocked over 60 mph roared though some counties south of  St. Louis. Heavy rain and thunderstorms rolled through Franklin, Washington, and Jefferson County, before crossing the Mississippi River into Illinois.

There have been scatter reports of power lines down, along with tree branches.

Lambert St. Louis International Airport lost power for a short period of time, but is back up and running on back-up generators.
