(KPLR) - It's been one year since former Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson, shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in the Canfield Green Apartment complex. The incident prompted weeks of protests and unrest and raised awareness about critical issues facing the city, including poor police and community relations, economic disparities, and a municipal court system that preyed on the poor. While there is a new municipal court judge, a new interim police chief, and a new interim city manager, many say more changes are needed.
