Water main break closes thoroughfare in Glendale

GLENDALE, MO (KPLR) – N. Berry Road was closed late Monday morning following a water main break, the Missouri American Water Company said.

The break occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of N. Berry Road and Beverly Avenue.

Traffic on Berry was closed between Cornelia Avenue and Greentree Lane while crews repair the 12-inch water main.

Repairs could take upwards of 20 hours to complete, a spokesman for the Missouri American Water Company said.

Traffic is being diverted to Sappington Road.
