ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Walt Crawford, founder of the World Bird Sanctuary, passed away Friday after suffering complications from hip surgery. He was 70 years old.

While his death is sudden and his family at FOX2 and News 11 are sad, we remember how much Walt laughed at himself (remember the angry pelican). We look back on some of our funniest moments with Walt.
