Spanish Lake man charged with DWI and endangering children

BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, MO (KPLR) – A Spanish Lake man is accused of a hit and run accident while intoxicated. 28-year-old Raymond Ross is charged with assault DWI, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Bellefontaine Neighbors police say Ross was speeding Friday morning when he struck the back of another car, causing that car to go airborne and rolling injuring everyone inside.

Police say he drove off, but his s-u-v went into a ditch nearby with his wife and three young children inside.
