Fair St. Louis opens July 2nd in Forest Park

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Fair St. Louis kicks off its three-day run on Thursday, July 2nd in Forest Park. Organizers are hoping the weather will cooperate as the annual fair returns to the park for the second year in a row. The event will start at 5p.m. There will be live music, educational activities and fun for the entire family. There will be big performances as well.

One of the most profound female Hip Hop artists of all time, MC Lyte will take the Budweiser Main Stage on Saturday, July 4th. She will be followed by fame musical acts, Tony! Toni! Tone!, Morris Day & The Time plus Kool & The Gang. Other musical acts hitting the stage include Blondie, Melissa Etheridge and American Authors.

Come out to enjoy the Ameren/ Purina Family Festival Zone, the longest, tallest mobile Zip line and a bicycle stunt performance by Chris Clark.
