Major Case Squad activated for Shiloh shooting death

SHILOH, IL (KPLR)- The Major Case Squad has been activated  after a murder in Shiloh, Illinois. Around 11:30pm Saturday, Shiloh police were called to an apartment building on Yorkshire Lane for a shooting.  Officers found a black male lying outside the apartment building  with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Kenneth J. Easley, 26.

Witnesses reported hearing yelling followed by three gunshots.

Shiloh Police Chief James Stover requested the Major Case Squad’s help and now fourteen investigators are working the case. The Major Case Squad says they do not believe that this was random incident.
