ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Hillary Clinton will be making a campaign stop in the St. Louis area on Tuesday according to a report from The Guardian. The Democratic presidential candidate will be speaking at Christ the King church in Florissant.

The St. Louis suburb is located near Ferguson. 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed last summer by a Ferguson police officer. The protests after the shooting led to months of unrest in the area. The ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement spread to other cities as controversy over the shooting of unarmed African-American men became headline news.

The Guardian reports that Clinton will speak and appear with leaders of the church. Christ the King’s pastor, Rev Traci Blackmon, is a member of the Ferguson commission.

Clinton is expected to speak about youth employment on Tuesday in Florissant.
