Driving restrictions put in place for Highway 79 in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Transportation and law enforcement officials have closed parts of Highway 79 in Lincoln County. The closures and driving restriction are due to flooding in the county.

Currently Highway 79 is opens to local traffic from I-70 to Riverdale. At Riverdale, Highway 79 is closed to all traffic.

From the north, Highway 79 is open to local traffic from Highway 47 to Highway C. At Highway C, Highway 79 is closed to all traffic.
