U.S. employers added 280,000 jobs in May

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- The Department of Labor released the May jobs report Friday and U.S. employers added 280,000 last month. However, the unemployment rate rose to 5.5 percent from 5.4 percent in April. In addition, average hourly wages rose 2.3 percent from a year earlier.
