St. Peters police investigating numerous vandalism cases

ST. PETERS, MO (KPLR) – The St. Peters Police Department is investigation over 20 cases of vandalism committed in the city over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Police believe groups of teens drove around St. Peters damaging vehicles and homes, by firing shots at their targets. The damage done was more extensive than those committed in recent years.

One victim said he hosting a graduation party, when discovered the damage done to his car. The windows had been smashed in and he estimates he will have shell out well over $500 to have them replaced.

The vandalism was spread over a 3 mile radius near Julie Lane and Mexico Road.

Police say the vandals will face felony charges when captured. In the meantime, police are asking for the publics’ help to catch the vandals and to call the St. Peters Police Department with any information.
