Senior citizen found in East S. Louis after disappearing in Fairview Heights

UPDATE:  Police say that Caldonia Porter was found in East St. Louis by a family member.  She was found safe and is now back home.

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, MO (KPLR) – The Fairview Heights Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a senior citizen who went missing Sunday night.

According to Lt. Mike Hoguet, a police spokesman, 69-year-old Caldonia Porter walked away from her family around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Ram Court near Moody Park.

Porter, who suffers from bipolar disorder and dementia, was last seen wearing a pink scarf on her head, a camouflage-colored jacket, and black and white shoes. She’s approximately 4’11” tall and 107 pounds with a thin build, shoulder-length black hair, and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Porter’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Fairview Heights Police Department at 618-489-2100.
