St. Louis organization reconnects 12,000 fathers with 30,000 children

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  There 24 million children in the US, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, who live in father absent homes.  That is one out of every three families.  St. Louis City and County have 128,000 children are growing up without a father

Halbert Sullivan is the founder and CEO of the Father Support Center in north St. Louis. He says he  saw a need in the community  to open the center to help create a positive outcome for children  and families  by helping fathers  become responsible  parents.

Fathers' Support Center, St. Louis (FSC) is celebrating 17 years of service to St. Louis families.  It has has reconnected over 12,000 fathers with 30,000 children.
