Plane crashes on interstate killing 4

DEKALB COUNTY, GA - Four people died in a small plane crash on an Atlanta highway.

The Piper PA-32 went down this (Friday) morning onto Interstate-285, which circles around Atlanta.

The f-a-a says the aircraft went down shortly after taking off from a nearby airport.

The plane crashed into a concrete median on one side of the busy highway.

No drivers were hurt.

The victims were identified as a father, his two adult sons and a woman who was engaged to one of the sons.

They are from North Carolina.

The family was headed to ole miss to see a relative's college graduation.
