ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- It's Friday and Emily Westerholt from the Riverfront Times shared some great events happening around town this Mother's Day weekend!

16th Annual St. Louis Dance Festival 5/8 - 5/9th 7:30 AM
Experience a dazzling assortment of dance at Washington University`s Edison Theatre this weekend. Organized by Dances of India, this dynamic event features the best of local dance talent. You`ll see ballet, Indian, hip-hop, contemporary, and Middle Eastern, all on one night! Companies performing include Midwest Ballet Theatre, Washington University Dance Theatre, the Slaughter Project, Diva La Tap, Aalim Middle Eastern, Beyond Motion, and Alexandra Ballet, among many others.

PROMO's annual fundraising event, bringing together over 750 LGBT-supporters, community leaders, politicians, and equality enthusiasts from all backgrounds to mingle with fellow advocates; indulge on some of the finest foods, cocktails, and entertainment St. Louis has to offer; and celebrate the most recent advancements in equality.

Art Fair at Laumeier Sculpure Park - 5/8 6-10 pm 5/9 10 am-8 pm 5/10 10 am-5 pm
The 28th Annual Art Fair at Laumeier Sculpure Park going on all weekend. Friday night they will have a wine tasting with unlimited samples from the following participating wineries: Blumenhof Winery, Bommarito Estate Almond Tree Winery, Noboleis Vineyards, Peaceful Bend Vineyard, Stone Hill Winery and Sugar Creek Winery. Schlafly will be having a special beer tasting and Q&A on Saturday!  Includes unlimited samples of classic, seasonal and special-release Schlafly beers. Sunday they will have a Mother's Day brunch buffet. Perfect Mother's Day outing with the family!
