Ferguson holds meet and greet with newly elected city council members

FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) – Saturday a special meet and greet was held in Ferguson for newly elected council members at Ferguson Community Day. The event was co-hosted by the city of Ferguson and Lindenwood University.

Lindenwood students volunteered for a variety of activities for kids, including free face painting, balloon animals, crafts and games.

They also provided tutoring in math and reading and Lindenwood athletes conducted a variety of sports clinics.

For adults free seminars were offered on resume building, job seeking and personal finance.
