ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) -  It's the only local non-profit dedicated exclusively to providing safe, affordable homes for people with developmental disabilities. Rainbow Village has been changing lives for 42 years now and is growing at a record setting pace.

In 2014, Rainbow Village purchased a total of 11 homes, making it the single most significant year of expansion since the organization was founded. Rainbow Village now serves more than 280 individuals in a total of 68 homes throughout the St. Louis Metro area.  They are in 22 different St. Louis area zip codes

Rainbow Village will host the 19th annual "Somewhere Over The Rainbow Gala" on Friday, April 24th at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. The fundraising dinner and auction begins at 6:30pm.
