ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – St. Louis police have identified a body discovered Tuesday in Forest Park.

Police said the body, which was located in a lake near the Steinberg Skating Rink, is that of 25-year-old Keith Rogers. The incident has been classified as a suspicious death while homicide detectives await autopsy results. Police said there were no visible signs of trauma.

However, a park ranger told Fox 2 that Rogers’ body was found in a wooded area in the park. The body was badly decomposed, even missing its face, leading them to believe the body had been there all winter.
