ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- It has been a busy overnight for MSD crews as they deal with the aftermath of massive storms. The incredible amount of rain that fell left behind big time flooding in places like West County. Manchester Road in the West County area looked like a river when the torrential rain hit. MSD officials have had 325 calls since yesterday`s storm. About 131 of those calls were for street flooding while 171 were for water back-ups into basments.

MSD says the two hardest hit areas were West and South County.

A spokesperson with MSD says 12.8 billion gallons of water fell in West and South County in a 15 minute time span. They have had 12 crews out working all night responding to emergency calls. There are 10 in the county and two in the city.

The company still has more than 100 calls open and in need of attention this morning.
