EAST ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - Voters in East St. Louis have a number of issues on the ballot Tuesday, including a mayoral race. Mayor Alvin Parks is running as a write-in candidate because the Illinois Supreme Court removed his name from the ballot for not gathering enough signatures.

Illinois U.S. Senator Dick Durbin endorsed one of Parks's opponents Emeka Jackson-Hicks.
