(KPLR) – St. Louis is home to the first program of its kind in the nation designed to help more women and African-Americans secure union jobs in a variety of areas, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. The program called, "Building Union Diversity", known simply as BUD is looking for participants ready to train for a skill set that can not only lead to permanent jobs, but change lives.
