(KPLR) - A representative for the St. Louis police union says law enforcement officers are breathing a sigh of relief now that a suspect wanted in connection with shooting and injuring a Webster Groves police officer and a St. Louis County police officer last week is in custody. Jeff Roorda, spokesperson for the St. Louis Police Officers Association says he spoke with one of the injured officers about the arrest of 20-year-old Jeffrey Williams and said the officer and his family "Are particularly relieved that this dangerous gunman is behind bars."  Roorda says both officers are doing remarkably well considering the gravity of their injuries. Money is being raised for the officers.
