Tributes pouring in for Otis Woodard

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – More tributes are pouring in for a man who dedicated his life to serving the poor and the homeless. Otis Woodard passed away Friday. he was a tireless advocate in the civil rights movement and  dedicated his life to his ministry.

He operated out of Otis Woodard Peace Park in north St. Louis and spent many hours there giving away clothing, food and sometimes cash to the needy.  His son is among those paying tribune.

Otis Woodard was 78 years old.
