DETROIT, MI (KTVI) -James Robertson will no longer walk his 21 mile commute anymore thanks to a Detroit Ford Dealership. Suburban Ford has given Robertson a new 2015 Ford Taurus as a gift.
Robertson used to own a Honda, but it broke down 10 years ago. Before his new car, Robertson made it to work on foot and never missed a day. After learning about Robertson’s daily 21-mile commute, a 19 year-old college student set up a GoFundMe account to help Robertson get a new ride. The account raised nearly $300,000.
