ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - More than $40,000 worth of jewelry is stolen from a Glendale neighborhood.
Police say a cleaning lady is to blame and that the thefts started in the fall of 2014.
But it wasn`t until a Glendale couple noticed a lot of jewelry was missing at their home on Austin Place over Christmas, that police started looking into other addresses the housekeeper cleaned.
Kay-Lynn Shae Graves did admit to police that she had stolen from one home and was booked and released. Now Graves has been charged with three felony counts of stealing over $500 because police say they have found at least one location in Town and Country and another location in Imperial who have been victimized.
