(KPLR) – Recent events in the St. Louis area are having a negative impact on our children. Everything from constant gunfire in neighborhoods to unrest in Ferguson is causing them to feel stressed and afraid. Parents may or may not recognize warning signs that indicate their youngsters are traumatized, but there is help available. Tonight on The Pulse of St. Louis, two therapists with Great Circle St. Louis share signs to look for that could indicate children need professional help recovering from frightening experiences.
