ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - I had to borrow these headphones. They're not mine.  This seems to be the way many people are now listening to music.  They download music to their phone and from there it goes straight to their ears.  Some people think CD's will soon be history.  I agree.

I think there's a conspiracy to shift us all to world where we download our music.  The conspiracy starts here...with today's CD.

The problem is they're too hard to open.  I don't know how they get wrapped, but the wrapping is so tight it makes opening one a challenge that could take all day.

So get ready for the CD to go the way of the eight-track.   It's strange how we've gone through so many different ways to hear music, yet there's still something special about the sound of an album.  That's how I prefer my music.
