Parkway North student aces ACT, SAT

CHESTERFIELD, MO (KPLR) – Less than one-tenth of one percent of test takers achieves a perfect score on the ACT or SAT, respectively. A senior at Parkway North High School aced both.

Abby Lammers, a National Merit Semifinalist, earned a 2400 on the SAT and a 36 on the ACT in 2014. Students taking the SAT are tested in three 800-point sections: math, critical reading, and writing. The ACT is split into four sections with multiple choice answers: English, math, reading, and science reasoning.

Lammers plans to attend Northwestern University this fall to study environmental engineering and economics.
