(KPLR) – The Ferguson Commission looking into the reasons behind the unrest surrounding the shooting of Michael Brown last August has announced its next meeting.

It’ll be held at the Westview Middle School in the Riverview Gardens School District on Tuesday January 20th.

The commission appointed by Governor Nixon has been hearing from the community since the beginning of December.

Commissioners tell News 11 they’ve been learning a great deal from the sessions, among which was one last week where commissioners got an earful from young people.

Tuesday’s commission meeting will be at Westview Middle School from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The commission is due to report its findings in September.
