ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - A winter storm remains on track for the St. Louis region. With borderline temperatures, this storm looks to be a freezing rain maker for St. Louis. The main batch of precipitation moves into the St. Louis area around midday Sunday and will continue overnight.

MoDOT began pretreatment with salt brine on Friday and has had crew on duty all weekend monitoring area roads. IDOT is also monitoring roads and bridges.

Drivers should be sure to slow down, have their headlights are on, and stay back from salt trucks by at least 100 feet.
