Minnesota couple announces pregnancy in unusual way

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - A Minneapolis woman wanted to do something different when announcing her pregnancy to her husband.

She shared the exciting news and filmed his reaction.

They decided to share their special moment online.

Nina Moini has a look at the video and spoke with the happy parents-to-be.

When they decided to share this very personal moment Michael and Jessica Devins say they just wanted one thing.

(Jessica Devins, Mother-to-Be): "I just posted it thinking someone might find inspiration in it someday."

The video found its way into the hearts of millions of people.

Strangers reaching out with their support for the parents-to-be.

(Jessica Devins, Mother-to-Be): "There's a lot of hard things going on in world this brings smile to someone's day."

The Minneapolis couple captures moments for a living working as photographers.

They have a lot of snapshots.

(nats: "Photo booths are like our thing.")

Everything from trips to Disney to their engagement.

Then about six months ago, Jessica decided to start recording their trips to different photo booths.

(Michael Devins, Father-to-Be): "We have so many photos we don't have room on our walls. Now, we need videos too."

But Jessica had a plan.

She wanted to record life's little moments, so Michael wouldn't see this one coming.

"My mind is racing trying to figure out what's going on Michael."

Eventually, inside this photo booth at Pizzeria Lola in Minneapolis where hundreds of memories already line the walls.

Jessica and Michael made their greatest one yet.

"There's no 'Gosh, what happens next' reveal. It's just a genuine moment."

The video was recorded back in September, but the couple didn't post it online until just a few weeks ago.

Jessica Devins is now 19 weeks into her pregnancy.

She and her husband say they expect to learn if the baby is a boy or girl next week.
