Governor-elect Rauner tells supporters thank-you

MARYVILLE, IL (KPLR) – Illinois’ incoming governor swung through Madison County Saturday. Republican Bruce Rauner has been taking a victory lap across the state saying he’s ready to get to work solving the state’s financial crisis. He stopped in Maryville to address supporters at a the  Red Apple restaurant.

Rauner shook hands with patrons, chatted, and thanked all those who showed up to see him.

Governor-Elect Rauner will be sworn in Monday in Springfield.
