St. Louis city offering Christmas tree recycling to residents

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – St. Louis city residents can take their Christmas trees to three city parks for recycling. Christmas trees can be brought to O'Fallon Park, Carondelet Park or the lower Muny parking lot in Forest park till January 10th.

Officials also want to remind residents to remove ornaments, tinsel and lights before you drop off your tree.


  • O'Fallon Park: West Florissant and Holly, picnic grounds #4
  • Carondelet Park: Grand and Holly Hills, area between gate and recycling containers
  • Forest Park: Lower Muny Opera Parking Lot
