Investigators looking into vacant house fire in Cahokia

CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI)- Metro east firefighters were busy with a vacant house fire early Friday morning in Cahokia. The fire occured around 1a.m. at the home in the 2000 block of Sandy Ridge Road.

It took firefighters nearly 45 minutes to get the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A mobile home behind on that property also caught fire a few weeks ago.
