FERGUSON, MO (KPLR)- A store whose theme is, "At the corner of Happy and Healthy," is happy this morning. The Walgreens located at Florissant and Hereford in Ferguson re-opened its 24-hour drugstore at 8a.m. today. The store was closed for nearly four weeks after being badly damaged by looters in November.
The looting occured after the grand jury decision not to indict former Ferguson officer Darren Wilson was announced.
The store will be open in time for last minute Christmas shoppers. Once again residents can get their prescriptions filled.
A company spokesman says store employees getting back to work will be a nice Christmas gift.
