Wings helps children with life threaten illnesses

(KPLR) – Monday on Afternoons on 11, Wings is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children who have life threatening illnesses.

In addition to providing hospice care, there's follow up care for two years for family members dealing with loss of a child. We'll highlight all the programs this agency has available, including "Raise the Roof", one of its biggest fund raisers.

And, we'll hear from one brave mother who says Wings is responsible for helping her cope with the loss and manage the grief after her fifteen year old son died from cancer.
