Parents cited with summons following shooting of 16-year-old

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - A 16-year-old was shot late Saturday night while walking in downtown St. Louis. The victim told police he and three friends were walking on north 6th Street around 11:30 pm when a black vehicle pulled up and people inside started firing shots at them.

The victim was hit in the foot.

Three other juveniles with him were taken to the police station where they were picked up by their parents.

All of the guardians and parents were issued summons for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, for not knowing where their children were.
