(KPLR) – Have your kids grown up and replaced their teddy bears with Barbie dolls and video games? Maybe they've already left home. Don't toss those old stuffed animals. An organization called "Tired Teddies" wants to clean them up and give them a new home.

Agents at Strano & Associates Real Estate (824 N Market St) and students at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School in Waterloo, IL are heading up this year's donation drive. The gently used stuffed animals will be taken to Stanley Steemer in Maryland Heights to be cleaned and sanitized. The groups will then give the toys to area kids in need and first responder who may encounter children in stressful situations.

The students have already filled three large boxes. Strano & Associates will be taking donations until December 12.
