ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Garth Callaghan has fought cancer four times, and has been given an 8% chance of living long enough to watch his daughter Emma graduate from high school.  Rather than dwell on his diagnosis, he takes each day as a gift and a chance to connect with those he loves.

He has promised to write 826 napkins so that Emma will have one for every day until she graduates high school. The story went viral earlier this year, and Napkin Notes the book hit shelves this October. New Line Pictures has already reserved the rights to make a movie based on the book.
