CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) - People plan to gather for a vigil in Shaw Park in Clayton Tuesday morning.
Clergy members are set to meet here for a prayer vigil in just over an hour. Then they will march through downtown Clayton. The plan is for a peaceful protest, but we know things have become violent in St. Louis.
People smashed the windows and burst into the business on South Grand Ave last n Monday night. Protesters also shut down traffic on interstate 44 at Grand. Dozens of cars and trucks were frozen on the highway as people chanted while holding signs.
Law enforcement is hoping the demonstration at Shaw Park is a peaceful one.
