School districts close ahead of Brown grand jury ruling

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – As the St. Louis region waits for the 8 pm announcement on the ruling from the Brown grand jury, school districts in north St. Louis County have called off school for Tuesday.

The district most affected from the August unrest, Ferguson-Florissant, Jennings, Normandy, Hazelwood have all closed for Tuesday.

But the school closings are not limited to north St. Louis County, with Clayton, Ladue, Cahokia, Parkway, Special School District and others have closed for Tuesday.
