Grand jury reaches decision in Michael Brown case

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Saint Louis County Prosecutor’s office has announced that the grand jury has reached a decision in the fatal Ferguson police shooting of Michael Brown. Prosecutor Bob McCulloch is expected to announce the outcome of their deliberations this evening.

Governor Jay Nixon is in St. Louis to speak a news conference.

On August 9, 2014, Brown, an unarmed black 18-year old, was shot and killed by Wilson, who is white. The shooting led to demonstrations, confrontations with police, and some looting and violence.
