ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- The Rams gut-wrenching loss to the San Diego Chargers wasn`t the only heart ache for St. Louis Rams fans on Sunday. Images out of San Diego from fans wanting the Rams to move back to Los Angeles were troubling as well.

FOX 2′s Chris Regnier is live downtown at The Dome with where things stand on the Rams future.

That future seems unclear to say the least.

It’s no secret that the Rams have had trouble filling The Dome with Rams fans for some time. After this season, the Rams can leave if a deal isn`t in place to make it a top tier NFL stadium.

There were Rams fan at the in San Diego, only these fans probably didn`t make the trip from St. Louis. They want the Rams to return to Los Angeles where they were before coming to St. Louis 20 years ago.

Before the game, Rams owner Stan Kroenke was seen talking with Chargers owner Dean Spanos. There aren’t any specifics of their conversation, but it certainly raised eyebrows especially given the fact that both the Rams and the Chargers can move after this season.

That applies to the Oakland Raiders as well.

The Rams have to decide by January 28th if they are going to move to a year-to-year lease at The Dome.

Kroenke would have to file to relocate February 15th, 2015.
