One dead, two injured in North St. Louis drug deal

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A deadly drug deal in North St. Louis. Kourtney Warren, 23 died in the shooting and two others shot Friday afternoon.

A wild scene that played out over several blocks in North City. Police say it was a drug deal among four men. But, two men decided to rob the other two and several shots were fired.

Police say the men driving a Suburban and a Chevy Impala met at a gas station on West Florissant and West Park. The transaction escalated to a robbery and shots were fired. The Chevy Impala headed south on Goodfellow. That is where one of wounded men got out of the car at Goodfellow and Leonora. The car with two wounded occupant on board ended up at a dead end at Lalite and Mimika. One person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the car ran from the scene. A large amount of cash and a handgun were found in the car.
