SULLIVAN, MO (KPLR) – Is it a gesture of racism, or simply an unintended mistake by a group of kids?

That's the question being asked about an event at Sullivan high school.

At issue is a powder puff football game, a fundraising game played by female students that happened two weeks ago.

A group of the girls had their faces painted black, and now a lot of people are trying to determine what, if anything, they meant by it.
