Courts and Better Family Life team-up for Holiday warrant amnesty program

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Better Family Life and the St. Louis County Municipal Courts have joined forces to host a Holiday amnesty programs for individuals with outstanding warrants.

As in past amnesty programs, defendants with warrants will be able to go to a participating court during normal business hours, post a $100 bond and receive a new court date and the warrant recalled.

The program does not apply to violent crimes.

Only the person with the warrant can appear in court, and post bond with a valid ID.

Over 60 cities are participating in the Holiday amnesty and the program will run from December 1st through December 31st.
