ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – November 9th is a special birthday for 14-year-old Kalil Thompson. The St. Louis Brittany Woods Middle School student wanted to make a difference after seeing the unrest in Ferguson. Thompson decided to use his birthday money to feed the homeless by handing out chili and water at the New Life Evangelistic Center in downtown St. Louis. His goal is to get others to do something nice for others on their own birthday to create a synergy of peace and harmony along with a positive image of the St. Louis area.
